Front Bumper Cover: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the front wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
Remove the bolts, the screws, the push pins and the front underbody shield.
Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the screws, the nuts, the push pins and position the fender liner aside.
Torque: 1: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm) | 2: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Disconnect the front bumper cover wiring harness electrical connectors.

If equipped. Disconnect the front camera washer hose.

On both sides. Remove the front bumper cover bracket bolts.
Torque: 55 lb.in (6.2 Nm)

Remove the pin-type retainers and the radiator sight shield.

With the help of an assistant, on both sides. Release the tab.

With the help of an assistant. Remove the bolts, release the tabs and remove the front bumper cover.
Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)
