Stability-Traction Control System Displays

The message center provides a stability-traction control system message indicating the traction control is disabled. When fault conditions exist such as wheel speed sensor failure, control valve failures, communication failures or low battery voltage in the ABS, the ABS module sends a brake warning request message to the IPC over the HS-CAN to illuminate the ABS warning indictor. The IPC sends the stability-traction control indicator request to the FDIM through the APIM or FCDIM over the Infotainment Controller Area Network (I-CAN) to display the stability-traction control message in the message center.
