Low Fuel Indicator (Vehicles Built After March 2015)

The IPC uses the fuel level input used for the fuel gauge to control the low fuel indicator. The low fuel warning indicator operates as follows:

Without Trip Computer 

• Using an administrator key, the low fuel warning indicator illuminates when the fuel gauge is at approximately 5.5 liters (1.45 gallons) approximately 1/16 tank.
• Using a MyKey®, the low fuel warning indicator illuminates when the fuel gauge is at approximately 1/8 tank (approximately 8.25 liters [2.2 gal]).

With Trip Computer 

• The low fuel warning indicator operates based entirely on DTE independent of the current fuel level indication.
• Using an administrator key, the low fuel warning indicator illuminates when the DTE is 50 miles (80 km).
  • The low fuel warning indicator turns off when the DTE is 70 miles (110 km).

• Using a MyKey®, the low fuel warning indicator turns on when the DTE is 75 miles (120 km).
  • The low fuel warning indicator turns off when the DTE is 95 miles (150 km).
