Turbocharger RH: Installation
- Install a new turbocharger oil supply tube filter and a new turbocharger oil supply tube linked sealing washer.
- Install the turbocharger oil supply tube and then tighten the new turbocharger oil supply tube bolt.
Torque: Stage 1: 159 lb.in (18 Nm) | Stage 2: 90 deg.
- Install the new the turbocharger gasket.
- Install the turbocharger, then install and tighten the turbocharger mounting bolts.
Torque: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
- Install the turbocharger heat shield, then install and tighten the turbocharger heat shield bolts.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

NOTE: Align the index marks for the CAC tube.
Install the turbocharger outlet pipe to the turbocharger and then tighten the turbocharger outlet pipe clamp. Connect the RH turbocharger bypass valve hose. Connect the RH turbocharger bypass valve electrical connector.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Install and then tighten the CAC tube nut to the intake manifold. Connect the turbocharger wastegate regulating valve hose to the CAC tube.
Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

NOTE: Align the index marks for the CAC tube.
Install the CAC tube, and then tighten the CAC tube clamp. Connect the LH turbocharger bypass valve electrical connector and the turbocharger bypass valve hose.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Install the turbocharger coolant tube the sealing washers.
- Install the turbocharger coolant tubes, then install and tighten the new coolant tube bolts.
Torque: Stage 1: 106 lb.in (12 Nm) | Stage 2: 60 deg.
- Install a new turbocharger oil return tube gasket and 2 new turbocharger oil return tube O-ring seals. Lubricate the turbocharger oil return tube O-ring seals with clean engine oil. Refer to: Specifications
.
- Install the turbocharger oil return tube, then install and tighten the turbocharger oil return tube bolts.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Connect the turbocharger wastegate regulating valve hose to the turbocharger wastegate actuator. Install the turbocharger intake pipe to the turbocharger and then tighten the turbocharger intake pipe clamp.
- Inspect the spring lock fitting and replace as needed.
Torque: Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) | Stage 2: Do not to exceed 26 Nm maximum. : 450 deg.

NOTE: Listen for audible click when installing the oil supply tube into the quick connect fitting.
Connect the turbocharger oil supply tube to the spring lock coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings .
- Install the turbocharger oil supply tube secondary latch.
- Install the Front Subframe. Refer to: Front Subframe .
- Install the Catalytic Converter RH. Refer to: Catalytic Converter RH .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the oil fill cap, then install the engine appearance cover. Install the oil fill cap.
- Check and top off the engine oil as needed. Refer to: Specifications .
