Turbocharger Coolant Supply Tube LH: Removal

NOTE:
Whenever turbocharger air intake system components are removed, always cover open ports to protect from debris. It is important that no foreign material enter the system. The turbocharger compressor vanes are susceptible to damage from even small particles. All components should be inspected and cleaned, if necessary, prior to installation or reassembly.
NOTE:
During the removal or installation of components, cap, tape or otherwise appropriately protect all openings and tubes/fittings to prevent the ingress of dirt or other contamination. Remove caps, tape and other protective materials prior to installation.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the oil fill cap, then remove the engine appearance cover. Install the oil fill cap.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- If equipped, remove the underbody splash shield fasteners and then remove the underbody splash shield.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly and the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner . Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .

- Disconnect the vacuum hoses. Disconnect the turbocharger bypass hose, loosen the turbocharger inlet pipe clamps and then remove the turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Disconnect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Release the clamp and position the coolant hose out of the way.
- Detach the harness retainers.
- Detach the harness retainers.
- Remove the turbocharger coolant tube bracket nut.
- Remove and discard the turbocharger coolant tube bolts, then position the turbocharger coolant tubes out of the way.
- Remove and discard the turbocharger coolant tube linked sealing washers.
- Disconnect the turbocharger coolant tube hoses and clamps.
- Remove the turbocharger coolant return tube and then remove the turbocharger supply tube.
