Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation And Component Description: Configuration

The IPC contains items that are configurable. Configurable items include customer preference items, which can also be set with a scan tool. The remaining configurable items can only be set through the vehicle configuration parameters. Refer to: Module Configuration (418-01 Module Configuration) . The IPC configuration file is basically a backup or copy of the vehicle configuration file. The vehicle configuration file is a complete file of the vehicle configuration that is stored in the BCM.
