Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The PAM communicates with the PCM on the High Speed Controller Area Network 1 (HS1-CAN).

PAM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
U0100:00	Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": No Sub Type Information	Sets in continuous memory in the PAM if expected messages from the PCM are missing for 0.5 second or more.
U0101:00	Lost Communication with TCM: No Sub Type Information	Sets in continuous memory in the PAM if expected messages from the PCM are missing for 0.5 second or more.

Possible Sources

NOTE: The DTC for lost communciation with the TCM is caused my a missing message from the PCM.
