Throttle Body: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Detach the CAC temperature sensor wire harness retainer and then disconnect the CAC temperature sensor electrical connector.

  3. Loosen the clamps and then remove the throttle body inlet tube.

  4. Remove the wiring harness retaining bolt.

    1. Detach the throttle body wire harness retainer.
    2. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector
    3. Remove the throttle body retaining bolts and then remove the throttle body.

  6. Remove and discard the throttle body gasket.
