Radiator Lower Hose: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
  3. Remove the LH headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .
  4. Remove the bolt and position the transmission cooler upward to release it from the lower retainer.

    Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  5. Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  6. Release the clamp disconnect the lower radiator hose from the upper radiator outlet. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  7. Release the clamp and remove the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
