Valve Cover: Installation

- Install the valve cover seals.
- Install the valve cover gasket.
- Install the valve cover and tighten the retainers.
Torque: Stage 1: 35 lb.in (4 Nm) Stage 2: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) Stage 3: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Connect the wire harness retainers to the generator bracket. Install the nut and the cap. Connect the generator electrical connector.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Connect the crankcase vent hose at the air cleaner outlet pipe and install the clip. Connect the hose to the retainers and the electrical connector.
- Install the NVH insulators.
- Position back the wire harness and connect the wire harness to the valve cover. Connect the electrical connectors and wire retainers. Install the nut for the ground wire and connect the wire retainer.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Install the bolts. Connect the electrical connectors and the wire retainer.
Torque: Front bolt: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) Rear bolt: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Install the fuel rail supply tube. Refer to: Fuel Rail Supply Tube .
- Install the fuel injectors. Refer to: Fuel Injectors .
