Removal And Installation: Flexplate: Installation

- Verify that the alignment dowel is installed in the crankshaft.
- If the alignment dowel is missing, install the alignment dowel in the crankshaft.

- Install the flexplate and the new bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown in 3 stages.
Torque: Stage 1: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm) Stage 2: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm) Stage 3: 45 deg.
- Remove Special Service Tool: 303-103 (T74P-6375-A) Holding Tool, Flywheel.
- Install the flexplate and the new bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown in 3 stages.
- Install the transmission. Refer to: Transmission - 3.2L Duratorq-TDCi (148kW/200PS) - Puma .
