Engine Mount RH: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
  3. Remove and discard the engine mount nut.

  4. Remove and discard the engine crossmember bolts.

  5. Remove the front lower air deflector.

  6. Remove and discard the engine mount bolts.

  7. Remove the engine crossmember bracket.

  8. NOTE: Position a wooden block between the oil pan and the crossmember for added safety.

    Position the stand on the RH back corner of the cylinder block. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands. Use the General Equipment: Wooden Block

  9. Remove the bolts and the bracket.

  10. Remove the bolts and the engine mount. Discard the bolts.
