Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Sensor Module 12: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor and the NOX12 electrical connectors and the harness retainers.

    • Disconnect the NOX sensor electrical connector and release the harness clip.

    • Remove the bolts and remove the NOX12 and the mounting bracket from the vehicle frame rail.

      Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

    • Remove the bolts and remove the NOX12 from the mounting bracket.

      Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
