Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Release spring clamp and position aside the heater hose.
- Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector.
- Remove retainer clip and then remove ECT sensor.
