Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation steps.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank Draining .

NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel tank filler pipe. Carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.
- Disconnect the fuel vapor tube quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent tube quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Loosen the fuel tank filler pipe hose clamp and disconnect the hose from the fuel tank.
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe bracket bolt, release the spring lock coupling and remove the fuel tank filler pipe. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings

Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
