Brake Vacuum Pump - 3.7L Duratec (199kW/270PS): Removal

NOTE: Green state vehicles only.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. With the vehicle in neutral, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
2. Disconnect the vacuum tube and the electrical connector.

3. Remove the 2 nuts and the brake vacuum pump.

   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
