Module Network Input Messages - Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Brake pedal applied PCM Input used for the not-in-park chime.
Door ajar status BCM Input used for the door ajar chime, key-in-ignition chime, headlamps on chime and not in park chime.
Driver safety belt buckle status RCM Input used for the safety belt chime and the Belt-Minder® chime.
Ignition status BCM Ignition RUN, START and accessory states required for the IPC operating modes and fault reporting.
Lights on indicator request BCM Input used for the headlamps on chime.
Parking brake warning indicator BCM Input used for the parking brake warning chime.
Power mode BCM Input used for the key-in-ignition warning chime, PRNDL not in park warning chime and the safety belt warning chime.
Turn indicator command BCM Input used for the turn signals on chime tone (tick-tock).
Vehicle speed ABS module Input used for the vehicle speed component of the Belt-Minder® chime, the parking brake chime and the PRNDL not-in-park chime.
