Front Electric Booster Heater: Removal
- Remove the front console. Refer to: Floor Console - Vehicles With: Single Passenger Seat .
- Disconnect the electrical connector and release the clips and position the transmission selector lever bezel aside.
- Release the clips and remove the bolts, retainers and the selector lever upper cover.
- Release the clips and remove the bolts and the instrument panel console.
- Disconnect the wiring harness bulkhead connector from the bracket and position the harness aside.
- Remove the bolts and the gear shifting housing support bracket.
Torque
: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

- Remove the selector lever nuts.
Torque
: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Disconnect the selector lever electrical connector and remove the selector lever bolts.
Torque
: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the selector lever pin, unclip the selector lever cable from the bracket and remove the selector lever assembly.
Torque
: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Remove the selector lever nuts.
- Remove the retainers and slide the plenum chamber assembly rearward.
- Disconnect the wiring and remove the retainers and the electric booster heater.
