Exhaust Manifold: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Refer to: Front Subframe - Remove for Access .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and the wiring retainers.
- Remove the bolts and the heat shield.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Remove and discard the nuts. Position back the exhaust system and support as needed.
- Remove and discard the exhaust system gasket.
- Remove the bolts for the exhaust manifold.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
- Remove the nuts and the exhaust manifold. Discard the nuts.
- Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.
- Remove and discard the exhaust manifold studs.
