Removal And Installation: Radiator: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the retainers and the lower air deflector.
- Release the retainers and remove the radiator sight shield.
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
- Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connector and detach the wiring retainer.
- Detach the retainer, disconnect the coupling and position the coolant hose aside.
- Remove the retainer and position the A/C tube assembly aside.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
- Remove the radiator side air deflectors pin-type retainers.

- Remove the radiator side air deflectors pin-type retainers.
- Release the tab and remove the radiator side air deflectors.

NOTE: Radiator, cooling fan, and A/C condenser will lower with sub frame.
- Remove the lower crossmember bracket bolts.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the bolts and the lower crossmember.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Remove the lower crossmember bracket bolts.
- Cut the foam seal. Use the General Equipment: Knife

NOTE: Make sure that no strain is placed on the refrigerant lines.
Loosely install the cable ties at both sides of the A/C condenser. Use the General Equipment: Cable Ties
- Release the tabs and position the A/C condenser aside.
- Depress the tabs and disconnect the coolant tube.

- Disconnect the coolant hoses quick connect couplings.
- Detach the retainers and remove the radiator.
