Battery - 2.5L Duratec (125kW/170PS): Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
2. Remove the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
3. Release the clips and position aside the main wiring harness.

4. Release the tabs and position aside the high current BJB.

5. Remove the nuts, battery hold-down bracket and the battery.

   Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
