Brake Vacuum Pump: Removal

Remove the engine appearance cover.

- Disconnect and position aside the crankcase ventilation tube.
- Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

Remove the nut, the bolt and position aside the engine harness and bracket.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Remove the nuts and position aside the evaporative emission purge valve and mounting bracket.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

1. Release the coupling and disconnect the vacuum tube.
2. Remove the bolts and vacuum pump.
  Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure that the couplings are aligned.

NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.

NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Remove and discard the gasket.
