Check 

1. Check the hood-to-body dimensions.
   1. Dimension: 0.1378 ±0.0591 in (3.5 ±1.5 mm)
   2. Dimension: 0.0236 -0.0787/+0.0394 in (.6 -2/+1 mm)
   3. Dimension: 0.1969 ±0.0591 in (5 ±1.5 mm)
   4. Dimension: 0.0945 ±0.0591 in (2.4 ±1.5 mm)
   5. Dimension: 0.1496 ±0.0591 in (3.8 ±1.5 mm)
   6. Dimension: 0.1378 ±0.0591 in (3.5 ±1.5 mm)
   7. Dimension: 0.0394 ±0.0787 in (1 ±2 mm)

Adjustment 

1. Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the hood. Loosen: 2 turn(s)

2. Adjust the hood to specification.

3. Tighten the nuts.

   Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Check 

1. Check the body-to-hood dimensions.
   1. Dimension: 0.0394 -0.0787/+0.0394 in (1 -2/+1 mm)
   2. Dimension: 0.1260 ±0.0591 in (3.2 ±1.5 mm)
   3. Dimension: 0.1260 ±0.0591 in (3.2 ±1.5 mm)
   4. Dimension: 0.0512 ±0.0591 in (1.3 ±1.5 mm)
   5. Dimension: 0.2362 ±0.0866 in (6 ±2.2 mm)

Adjustment 

1. On both sides. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the hood. Loosen: 2 turn(s)

2. Adjust the hood to specification.

3. Adjust the bump stop rubbers.

4. On both sides. Tighten the bolts.

   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
