PAM Network Input Messages 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Ignition key type BCM Prevents the parking aid from being disabled if a MyKey® restricted key is in use.
Power mode BCM Used to communicate the ignition switch state.
Reverse gear PCM Enables the rear parking aid when reverse gear is selected.
Selector lever (PRNDL) status PCM Used on vehicles equipped with front and rear parking aid to enable or disable the front and rear parking aid depending on the selector lever position.
Trailer connect indicator TRM Disables the rear parking aid when a trailer is electrically connected to the vehicle.
Vehicle speed ABS module Disables the parking aid if the vehicle speed exceeds a preset threshold.
