Throttle Body: Installation

NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
- Inspect the throttle body gasket, clean and replace the throttle body gasket as needed.

NOTE: Tighten the throttle body mounting bolts evenly.
Install the throttle body, then install and tighten the throttle body bolts in the following 2 stages.
Torque: Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)Stage 2: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Connect the throttle body electrical connector.
- Install the throttle body inlet pipe and install the throttle body inlet pipe bolt finger tight at this stage.
- Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe clamp.
Torque: 44 lb.in (5.0 Nm)
- Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe clamp.
Torque: 36 lb.in (4.1 Nm)
- Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe bolt.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Tighten the throttle body inlet pipe clamp.

- Connect the electrical connector
- Connect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
