Transmission Fluid Heater Coolant Control Valve: Removal

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
  2. Remove the RH roll restrictor. Refer to: Roll Restrictor RH - 1.0L EcoBoost (92kW/125PS) .
  3. Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  4. Disconnect the coolant control valve electrical connector.

  5. Remove the bolts and the transmission fluid heater coolant control valve.

    Torque

    : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
