Heater Hoses: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect the heater hoses and detach the hose retainer. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Loosen the clamps and remove the nuts.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Release the clamp and disconnect the vacuum hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 4. Disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor electrical connectors.
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 7. Disconnect the PCV hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe assembly.
- Loosen the clamps and remove the nuts.
- Follow the directions to release the quick release coupling type 25. Disconnect and remove the heater inlet hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

- Release the clamps and remove the heater outlet hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
