Connect

  1. Refer to: Gasoline and Gasoline-Ethanol Fuel Systems Health and Safety Precautions .
  2. Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
  3. Loosen the clamps and remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

  4. Disconnect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

  5. Connect the following items: Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18 Test Hose for 310-025., 310-025-19A Test Hose for 310-025.

  6. Connect the following items: Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18 Test Hose for 310-025., 310-025-19A Test Hose for 310-025. Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector

  1. Using the digital multi-meter function, measure the fuel system pressure. Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment

Disconnect 

  1. WARNING: WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

    Release the fuel system pressure.

  2. Disconnect the following items: Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C407) Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

  3. Disconnect the following items: Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

  4. Remove the special tools. Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18 Test Hose for 310-025., 310-025-19A Test Hose for 310-025. Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector

  5. Remove the special tools. Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18 Test Hose for 310-025., 310-025-19A Test Hose for 310-025.

  6. Connect the quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

  7. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe and tighten the clamps.

    Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
