Windshield Washer Reservoir: Removal

  1. Using a suction gun, remove the windshield washer fluid from the reservoir. Use the General Equipment: Fluid Suction Gun

  2. Remove the LH headlamp assembly.
  3. If equipped.

    1. Detach the wiring harness retainers.
    2. Remove the pin type retainer.
    3. Remove the bolt and the engine air intake resonator.

      Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)

  4. Disconnect the hoses and remove the bolt.

    Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)

  5. Remove the LH fender splash shield. Refer to: Fender Splash Shield .
  6. Detach the wiring harness retainer.

    1. Disconnect the windshield washer pump electrical connector.
    2. Remove the lower windshield washer reservoir bolt and the windshield washer reservoir.

      Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)

    3. Lift and detach the reservoir from the body.
    4. Lower and remove the windshield washer reservoir.
