Upper Arm: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Tighten the suspension bushing fasteners with the suspension loaded or with the weight of the vehicle resting on the wheels and tires, otherwise incorrect clamp load and bushing damage may occur.

NOTE: Make sure that the ball joint ball does not rotate.
1. Install the new upper arm-to-subframe and press the upper arm to wheel knuckle.
2. Install the upper arm-to-wheel knuckle new nut.
  Torque: Stage 1: 177 lb.in (20 Nm) Stage 2: 90 deg.
3. Install the upper arm-to-subframe new bolt.
  Torque: Stage 1: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm) Stage 2: 90 deg.
