Oil Pressure Switch: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
If equipped, remove the bolts and the underbody shield.

Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.

- Remove and discard the oil pressure switch.
  Torque: Stage1: 106 lb.in (12 Nm) / Stage 2: 180 deg.
- If the oil pressure switch is to be reused, apply thread sealant to the oil pressure switch threads.
  Material Motorcraft® Thread Sealant with PTFE / TA-24-B (WSK-M2G350-A2)
