Removal And Installation: Radiator: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Recover the A/C system. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging - Vehicles With: R134A Refrigerant .
- Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
- Remove the condenser inlet and outlet nuts and disconnect the fittings. Discard the O-ring seals and gasket seals.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
- Release the clamp and disconnect the lower radiator hose. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Release the clamps and disconnect the transmission cooler lines. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

- Detach the wiring harness retainer.
- Detach the wiring harness connector retainer and position the wiring harness aside.
- Detach the retainers and position the electrical wiring harness aside.

- Remove the radiator upper mounting brackets and the radiator upper isolators.
- Remove the cooling module.
- Release the clips. Remove the A/C condenser and transmission fluid cooler assembly.
