Wheel Hub - Vehicles With: Rear Drum Brakes: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that new bolts are installed.

NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.
- Install the brake backing plate and the wheel hub.
- Install the wheel hub retainers.

Tighten the bolts in sequence in two stages.
Torque: Stage 1: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm) Stage 2: 50 deg.

Install the wheel speed sensor bolt.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Install the brake shoes. Refer to appropriate service information.
