Rear Shock Absorber: Installation

    1. Position the rear shock absorber and install the rear shock absorber upper bolts.

      Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

    2. Position the fender splash shield.
    3. Fix the retainer.

  1. NOTE: Only tighten the nuts finger tight at this stage.

    Install the new rear shock absorber lower bolt and nut.

  2. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands

  3. Tighten the rear shock absorber lower bolt and nut. Use the General Equipment: Vehicle/Axle Stands

    Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)

  4. Install the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
