Steering Gear Boot: Installation

NOTE: The seal is to be reused unless damaged.

NOTE: Make sure that the seal is correctly located.

Inspect the steering gear boot inner seal.

Install the steering gear boot.

Install the steering gear boot inner clamp. Use Special Service Tool: 204-169 Clamping Tool, Boot Retaining Clamp.

Install the tie rod end jamb nut.
