Rear Center Seatbelt Retractor: Removal

  1. Remove the LH rear seat backrest. Refer to: Rear Seat Backrest .
  2. Remove the rear LH seatbelt buckle.

    1. Remove and discard the bolt retainer.
    2. Remove the bolt.

  3. Remove the child safety seat tether anchor bezel and the rear center seatbelt guide bezel.

    1. Release the J-clip.
    2. Unzip the backrest cover.
    3. Position the backrest cover to access the rear center seatbelt retractor bolt.

  4. NOTE: The rear seat backrest cover is shown in illustration, removed for clarity.

    Remove the rear center seatbelt retractor bolt.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

  5. On both sides. Position the backrest cover to access the rear center seatbelt retractor.

  6. Route the seatbelt through the guide.

  7. Remove the rear center seatbelt retractor.
