In-Vehicle Temperature Sensor

The in-vehicle temperature sensor is an input to the HVAC control module. The in-vehicle temperature sensor has an electric fan within the sensor that draws in-vehicle air across the thermistor. The thermistor measures the in-vehicle air temperature. The HVAC control module adjusts the system based on the in-vehicle temperature sensor information to maintain the desired temperature of the passenger cabin air.
