Front Seat Track Motor Cable: Installation

  1. Remove the cable end from the short front seat track motor cable.

  2. Install the short front seat track motor cable end into the front seat track.

  3. NOTE: The short front seat track motor cable may have to be turned to fully engage the end of the cable into the seat track gearbox.

    Install the short front seat track motor cable into the front seat track.

  4. Position the front seat track motor while connecting it to the short front seat track motor cable.

  5. NOTE: The long front seat track motor cable may have to be turned to fully engage the end of the cable into the seat track gearbox.

    Install the long front seat track motor cable into the front seat track.

  6. NOTE: The long front seat track cable does have the ability to flex.

    Connect the long front seat track motor cable to the front seat track motor.

  7. Engage the front seat track motor and long front seat track motor cable into the locking tabs on front seat track.

    1. Engage the front seat track motor into the front seat track.
    2. Engage the long front seat track motor cable into the lock on front seat track.
    3. Engage the long front seat track motor cable into the lock on front seat track.
    4. Engage the long front seat track motor cable into the lock on front seat track.
    5. Engage the long front seat track motor cable into the lock on front seat track.

  8. Position the front seat to the normal position.
