Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the oil filler cap and then remove the engine appearance cover. Install the oil filler cap.

    1. Slide the red locking tab (CPA) back away from the ignition coil-on-plug, depress the latch and then remove the connector from the ignition coil-on-plug.
    2. Remove the ignition coil-on-plug bolts.
    3. Using compressed air, remove any foreign material from the ignition coil-on-plugs and surrounding area before removing the ignition coil-on-plugs. Remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
