Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Removal

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the engine appearance cover.
- Using compressed air, remove any foreign material from the ignition coil-on-plugs and surrounding area. Remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
- Slide the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connector cover back to gain access to the locking tab, slide the locking tab back away from the ignition coil-on-plug, depress the latch and then disconnect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connector. Remove the ignition coil-on-plug bolts and then remove the ignition coil-on-plugs.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Inspect the ignition coil-on-plug assembly for cracks, rips or tears. Replace any damaged coil-on-plug assembly's.
