Muffler and Tailpipe: Installation

- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Partial replacement. Connect the front muffler to the rear muffler entry pipes using exhaust clamps.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

NOTE: Make sure the trailing edge of the clamp correctly locates over the indented ring on the front muffler inlet pipe.
Loosely install the exhaust clamp, and correctly locate it over the indented ring on the front muffler inlet pipe.

NOTE: Make sure the decorative tips are properly aligned with the openings in the rear bumper cover and adjust if needed.
Align the decorative tips and tighten the clamps in the sequence shown.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- Check the exhaust system for leaks.
