Gearshift Lever: Removal

- With the vehicle in N, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the gearshift lever boot. Refer to: Gearshift Lever Boot .
- Remove the driveshaft. Refer to: Driveshaft .
- Support the crossmember with a transmission jack, remove the crossmember bolts and lower the transmission. Use the General Equipment: Transmission Jack
- Remove the gearshift lever assembly bolts.
- Remove the nuts and the gearshift lever assembly.
