Output Shaft: Assembly

- Install the 2nd gear roller bearing.
- Install 2nd gear.
- Install the 2nd gear 3-piece synchronizer assembly.
- Install the 1-2 synchronizer hub, synchronizer sleeve and install the 3 detents. When installing the sleeve, align the indented internal splines with the detent slots in the hub.

NOTE: Do not heat the component longer then 15 minutes or damage may occur.
Heat the 1st gear bearing race to 260°F and install it on the output shaft.
- Install the 1st gear 3-piece synchronizer assembly.
- Install the 1st gear roller bearing.
- Install 1st gear. Align the synchronizer with the slot in the gear.

Heat the rear bearing to 260°F and install it on the output shaft.
- Install the 6th gear roller bearing.
- Install 6th gear.
- Install the 6th gear 3-piece synchronizer assembly.
- Install the 5-6 synchronizer hub, sleeve and detents. Install the snap ring. When installing the sleeve, align the indented internal splines with the detent slots in the hub.
