Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
When the ignition switch - push button start has been pressed, the PCM receives a voltage signal on the crank detect circuit. When the required inputs have been received, the PCM supplies voltage and ground to the starter relay coil. The ignition switch - push button start is part of the FCIM and cannot be serviced separately. For more information, REFER to: Starting System - System Operation and Component Description .
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
