Switchable Engine Mounts

The switchable engine mounts are a hydro dampening design to improve engine vibration at idle.
The switchable engine mounts consists of:
- 2 glycol filled engine mounts.
- Vacuum reservoir and vacuum solenoid switch mounted on the drivers side of the engine compartment frame rail.
- Vacuum hoses with check valves.
Vacuum On trigger is set when all three conditions are satisfied:
- Vehicle speed is below 20 MPH (drive) or vehicle speed is below 10 MPH. (reverse/neutral/park).
- Engine speed is between 360 RPM and 860 RPM.
- Run Time greater than 1.5 seconds.
Vacuum OFF trigger is set when:
- Engine speed is greater than 960 RPM.
- Engine speed is less than 260 RPM.
- Vehicle speed is greater than 22 MPH.
