Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor: Removal

Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
Torque

: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

1. Disconnect the low pressure fuel sensor electrical connector.
2. Detach the fuel supply tube retainer from the valve cover stud bolt.

NOTE: Before installation, lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
1. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connectors and remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.

  Torque
  
  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
2. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connectors and remove the retainer and the exhaust CMP sensor.
