Battery Tray: Removal

Remove the air cleaner. For 2.0L refer to: Air Cleaner . For 2.7L, refer to: Air Cleaner . Ford 3.5L, refer to: Air Cleaner .
Remove the battery. Refer to: Battery .
Disconnect the battery cable and engine wire harness retainers from the battery tray.

1. Remove the M6 x 18mm bolts.
  Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
2. Remove the M6 x 30mm bolts and the battery tray.
  Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
