Front Active Park Assist Sensors: Removal

NOTE: This procedure can be used for all locations of the component.
  1. Remove the front wheel and tire assemblies. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
  2. Remove the fender liner to radiator closeout screws.

    Torque: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)

  3. On both sides. Remove the screws and nuts from the front of the fender liner.

    Torque: Fender liner screws: 13 lb.in (1.5 Nm) Fender liner nuts: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

  4. Position the fender liner aside.

  5. Remove the front active park assist sensor.

    1. Disconnect the front active park assist electrical connector.
    2. Release the retaining tabs.
    3. Remove the front active park assist sensor.
