Pinpoint Test BA : The Headlamps On Warning Chime Is Inoperative

BA1 CHECK THE SAFETY BELT WARNING CHIME OPERATION
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Unbuckle the driver safety belt.
- Monitor the safety belt warning chime when the ignition is transitioned from OFF to RUN for 6 seconds.
Does the safety belt warning chime operate for approximately 6 seconds?

Yes GO to BA2

No Refer to IPC Guided Routine Testing .

BA2 PERFORM THE IPC (INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the IPC self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to DTC Chart: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) .

No GO to BA3

BA3 CHECK THE GWM (GATEWAY MODULE A) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, check the GWM Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded?

Yes REFER to: Communications Network .

No DIAGNOSE all BCM Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to: Body Control Module (BCM) .
