- F1 RETRIEVE AND RECORD ALL DTCS
- Using the diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all DTCs.
Is DTC P0657 present?
Yes GO to F2 No REFER to: Diagnosis By Symptom . - F2 CHECK THE TRANSMISSION SOLENOID POWER CONTROL CIRCUIT
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect Transmission Vehicle Harness C168.
- Inspect the connectors for damaged or pushed-out terminals, corrosion, loose wires and missing or damaged seals.
- Connect a fused jumper between one of the 7 solenoid control circuit terminals on the transmission vehicle harness. Do not use a solenoid control circuit that may be at fault. Failure to jump to a known good solenoid control circuit can cause incorrect diagnostic results. Refer to the DTC Chart: PCM for a fault listing.
